Sounds plausible, but still fishy. What's different in the test? Its still a mid-size, isn't it? I have a feeling that the real #s will come in the same as the 05, though. That's where my $$ is placed.

Xcel- any chance you know some of the test nuances among 'weight classes.'?

I woud think/hope that had Honda used a different procedure for any reason, it would have been mentioned in a release somewhere. They ain't dumb- if they had an external factor to explain it, they would tell to mitigate the (shame) of lower mpg when everyone is barking for the opposite trend.

Then again, this is the same company that thought making a V6 version without at least an accompanying I4 version was a good idea... to the tune of a whole 14000 units sold.
