Yes, I averaged
52.7 mpg on my
217 mile trip back home to Rockford for the weekend from Western Illinois University ! I set the cruise control to 60 miles per hour and even got behind a few semis which, believe it or not, helped. I could see the MPG indictor increase when I pulled up behind them. It was a cold and cloudy day with little wind. I believe the temp was in the low 30's.
That is the best mpg I have achieved since I got the car back in December. On the way down to school after winter break I averaged 45.2 but, I was also going faster, something like 75
mph.
