Re: To EV or not to EV that is the question
I settled on a hybrid, I would have much preffered an EV. The problem is that #1 as you mentioned the mileage was better 40 years ago. With all the technological advances you would think we would have a battery that can hold a better charge. #2 there wasn't a real car out there. The Saturn EV1 came close but then dissappeared due to the leases with no buy out option. I have no issue plugging my car in! My dad jokes: "the have a working electic car, the problem is, they haven't invented an extension cord long enough".
