The Accord Hybrid gets the mileage of a typical 4-cylinder non-hybrid, or even worse. It is better than the 4-cylinder Accord but it's kind of pointless. You might be interested in the Camry Hybrid; it's not as quick as the Accord but it is quicker than any other hybrid car, it definitely will get better mileage than the Accord Hybrid, and it'll have the quality of a typical Camry or possibly slightly better (2007 Camry vs 2002-2006).
