In Baltimore, there's a rude-driving phenomenon that is just *way* over the top. It involves people who just park their cars *in traffic*. Yes indeed. Coming in to Baltimore on St-Paul or leaving on Charles, traffic just gets *paralyzed* because people activate their 4-way flashers and park their cars in traffic so that they can run into a convinience store for a carton of smokes, lotto tickets, or a 6-pack of cheap beer.

I wish I could say it's an SUV phenomenon, but these jerks drive all kinds of cars -- from '83 Chevette to Hummer H2.

It's the height of rudeness. It also reflects their laziness ("why should *I* have to spend 30 seconds looking for a parking space, when I can just hold up a couple hundred drivers instead.")
