When I took my trip to texas I discovered that with cruise set at 75-80 the car would go into stealth mode / EV coming off of overpass's and in some cases not kicking in until 5-6 miles past the overpass.. I found this very intrigeing, note I drove from Orlando fl - Bryan/College Station Tx on 2.5 tanks of gas..

P.S. Another thing I do not find mentioned much is that the car gets what you put into it, I mean if your going to drive it like you stole it your gas mileage will suffer.. When you buy/drive a hybrid you have to change your driving habbits to successfully increase your mileage (that would be any hybrid)..

It sure would be nice for the auto makers to put out a car that gets 80 mpg no matter how heavy your foot is, but not today it would cost a small fortune..
