Well, this has been very... intersting.

I've had my HCH for two weeks, and just joined the forum recently. This was my first new thread post. Had no idea it would stir up so much emotion!!

And all before my first fill-up!!

All kidding aside, after posting it I did consider that the article would be small consolation for someone who has had to have the battery pack replaced, and I have read that the early Insights were more prone to packs going bad than the later models. And, of course, I may get stung also. But as D.F. points out, any component is open to failure under the right set of circumstances, so I'm going to go by the tests and hope mine is average. If I get 160,000 out of my pack I won't be disappointed.
