If anything insurance rates should be higher comparing lets say Civic to Civic hybrid with same trim since if any battery packs or "Hybrid" components are jeapordized the cost of repair will be higher. Not to mention the cost to find a proper bodyshop to work on an aluminum Insight, etc etc
