WE are talking about Insuranse. If you get rear ended and your IMA system gets Compromised in the accident IT IS the insruance's responsibility. Geez, If honda is going to start covering accidents then we might as well all drop our coverage. The Insight is the only aluminum hybrid. Honda and Toyota cover the battery pack costs to the vast majority of drivers that have experienced those problems - not the insurance companies. Anyone reading that thread concerning driving the speed limit knows there is a way to do it safely and courtously at or just under the limit - hypermilers are familiar with doing it.
A few people seem resentful at those that don't speed with them. Please post a link that proves the G-forces at a 50mph collision are deadlier than a 80mph collision.

If one can setup a site like www.blackholehonda.ca, they know how to setup a forum, get it on the search engines so hybrid haters and skeptics can easily find it.
I see no reason why that can't happen - he has the time and know-how. The only issue is does he really believe he has a significant following? Running his own forum is a lot more credible than posting half-facts, half-quotes, posting only what incites arguements and ignore anything that resolves them.
