That's in interesting observation. Personally, I find that DWL works best on terrain that is only moderately hilly because I can only carry so much kinetic energy into a hill. Sure, I can coast down any length of hill if it's steep enough. But by the end I'm only going to have an extra 10-15mph that will only carry me so far up before I have to put my foot on the throttle to hold steady at my chosen minimum speed. Hmm...
