the fly in the ointment? i have to drive our truck because i can't yet negotiate the clutch in my car. it's sitting in the garage hating me.....i haven't gone back to work yet, so i haven't had the bite of commuting with the truck, so hoping that by the time my PT is done i will be able to drive my car again......i miss it........

Congratulations on being on the "healing side" of knee woes. I know it's a long road, but you sound like you're taking it in stride. I had physical therapy with several knee replacement patients last year during my own recovery/PT from ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair and partial meniscus removal. Happily, I've been as good as new for many months now (my surgery was February 4, 2005).
You'll be back driving your favorite car soon, and doing all the other things your knee won't let you comfortably/safely do right now very soon, as well.
All the best!
