Default Question Oil Change Interval: M1 /w Syntec 5W30
I just had my first oil change at 8000km or 5000mi; i changed it with Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil 5W30: did it myself

My question is:
Is it safe to change my oil change routine/interval from Q5000mi (toyota recommended with regular oil) to Q10,000Mi or every 16,000KM; I know there is no benefit of changing synthetic oil every 5000mi or 8000Km it's supposed to be made to outlast regular oil.
