Fuel-Saving Driving In General
- Cruise at the slowest speed you can in your highest gear without lugging.
- Keep that speed steady as much as possible - echew accelerations
- Anticipate what's ahead.
- Pick routes conducive to hypermiling.
- Be sure engine is off if you are stopped more than a few seconds.
- Don't overuse the A/C or defroster using the A/C.
