Where are you getting your figures from?

I'm a member over at the TDI club, and a participant on thier mileage competition.

A few TDI's are achieving +60MPG but normally get the same as the average Civic or Prius.

Some of the TDI's are exceeding 700, and a few over 800 miles to the tank, but is not due to superior efficiency.

They have a 16-21 gallon tank.
