Default How big/heavy is a BMW 320 d?

50-60 mpg is great.How big/heavy is the 320 d?
We are definitely getting a big dose of "grass is greener" in respect to Diesels-especially GM diesels. Apparently GM has lots of high tech Diesel cars in Europe that get great mpg. The Zafira-discussed in another thread-is like a stubby minivan.Same length as a Prius-175 inches-but 4" taller and about 4" wider, and it is apparently can carry 7 passengers. I would like something like that for my upcoming road trip. The Prius will be a bit small for 2 adults,a greyhound,a kitten,a MTB, and lots of other stuff. We sleep in the back on the fly, so a big tall area behind the front seat is nice. This Zafira "beat' the Prius-mpg wise- at highway speeds according to a German rag.
The also have a Corsa-Fit,Yaris sized, but getting 50 mpg with a Diesel.
We get the POS Aveo, they get a high tech 50 mpg car??WTF?? Thanks,Charlie

PS Being a true American, I would love for the Prius to be about 8"longer and 3" taller. It is wide enough now for 2 across seating, so it can keep the same width.Give me a hatchback Camry Hybrid!!
