Well I can put in more simple so you understand better. Up the mountains/hills bad mpg and down really good. Take serious advantage of flat land and minor downgrades. It can be done the highest I have seen was driving from Camarillo to Los Angeles. After finishing the trip the car read 54.7mpg up and down three mountains and the 405 from the 5 to about the 101 had to be a slight downgrade.
