Now that is real cool. Direct injection is really something, if you have good fuel. I know our fuel is way better than it was just 5 years ago, but I think we need to get to the European standard.
GM has had some great stuff. A DI V8. I can see some guy in a Corvette "turbocharged" V8 with DI getting over 30mpg while putting along, and putting down 600hp when the need arises.
What I like about the DI, it benefits big HP, and even more, turbo charged engines in the arena of pre-det. I'd like to see the specs on that V8 from GM.
