Phil- the Jetta TDI manual trans isn't even close; it is using 31% more fuel!
The numbers I read were 5.2L/100 KM VS 6.8 L/100KM-
I think this would be 5.2x1.057/4=1.37 gallons 100KM=62 MILES 62/1.37=45.3 MPG
and 6.8 x1.057/4= 1.8gallons 62/1.8= 34.4 mpg
I pretty sure 6.6L/100 KM= 34.4 MPG.
