Ok, I answered my own question to some extent and posting it here in case others are interested.

I found the P.I.E. aux adaptor at Crutchfield, and they provide detailed instructions for how to dissemble your dash. They were $10 more than Logjam for the same item, but I figured the instructions and Crutchfield's friendly service and return policy were worth it.
