I bought a F-150 20 years ago and put 250,000 miles on it, with many miles towing a 5,000 lb horse trailer in the mountains. I used Mobile-1 in it (mostly 10W-30). It still has the original engine with good compression, and uses (drips mostly ) a quart every 2,000 miles after all that use.

I'm also going to be using Mobil-1 in my TCH despite the extra cost.
