See ya GM.

PS Why can't we crush all the GM crap that's out there, starting with the Hummers and Tahoes? THAT'd win some points in many eyes.
This along with NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY AN SUV....... illustrates that many members here loath Hummers, Escalades, Tahoes.... I'm not the most passionate or strike out at all SUVs, yet a few seem to respond to my remarks as if I'm the only one making these kinds of posts. I may have made the most and have had the most stories. If find it strange that none of the stories at Time: Pain at the Pump were challenged (Tahoe owner giving a dirty look at a hybrid compact, or something to that effect...), yet a recent story of me encountering a guy in an H2 limo is scrutinized and disputed by 2-3 people that were not there.

The only thing that may distinguish myself is posting the pictures of how silly some of these poseurs look - it seems to strike nerves. While I'm not going to say every Tahoe driver, etc. looks like some of the people I've put on "candid camera", it's still commonplace and among other things indicates they are totally disinterested in better fuel economy.

Again, I find it very interesting that many members here make very similar remarks about jumbo SUVs and one-ton trucks, yet they don't get flamed much (nor do they deserve it). There is no rationale to this discrepancy.

I apologize for risking a flame war bringing this up.
