While I'm not going to say every Tahoe driver, etc. looks like some of the people I've put on "candid camera", it's still commonplace and among other things indicates they are totally disinterested in better fuel economy.
Again, I find it very interesting that many members here make very similar remarks about jumbo SUVs and one-ton trucks, yet they don't get flamed much (nor do they deserve it). There is no rationale to this discrepancy. |
I for one am tired of you intentionally trying to call me out on these boards and then claiming that you are not a troll or intentionally posting flame bait.
The reason I didn't respond to the above post is because the above post makes no reference to morality or moral fiber of the person who is DRIVING the SUV. You on the other hand chose to attack the person driving the vehicle. You goal is not to discuss and debate the merits of said vehicles, but to rather demonize and vilify the persons driving them. BIG BIG difference.
The only reason you see no rationale to the discrepancy is because you live in a fantasy world and refuse to see beyond your own hypocrisy and stereotyping.
Here is what amazes me. Why do the moderators continually allow you to hijack a thread with personal attacks and flames and yet, when any of us respond to in defense, we are chastised. Where is the rationale to this discrepancy.
Why even make such a post if it wasn’t to try and stir something up. What did this post contribute to the conversation regarding GM. Everything is about you isn’t it.
And yes I am sure you will respond with some half-baked “I am not crazy” reply in an attempt to divert this thread further. But unlike you I don’t have to have the last word, so whatever response you post won’t matter. You will get no further replies from me. If you want to continue to rant and rave and make further attempts to try and convince people that you are not carrying around some kind of preconceived bias regarding SUV owners, got right ahead. Maybe some of the other members will be more apt to believe you. Bottom line is your actions betray your words.
