I am just wondering about the age of the owners here. For me I didn't get this car to impress anyone. The reason for me getting this car is that no other car on the market right now balances fuel efficiency, luxury features, and The dependability of a Toyota vehicle for under 35K. Too me that is a steal.

I may be in the wrong generation (I'm 45 and single) to answer you, but as a person who has owned near luxry cars, Infiniti (I30 and I30) and TWO Acura TLs I can tell you at some point you need to decide whay you are buying what you are buying. Are you buying for yourself or to impress someone else. I loved driving my TL and it was an awesome car, but $200+ in premium gas each month made me rethink my priorities. I felt that a modest change can net me $200 a month in savings. I usually keep a car 2 years so with the tax credit and about $80 a month in gas savings I save $200 a month and while the TCH is not as sporty as the TL is it every bit a comfortable car with the right options. I give up 2 things, NAV (too long of a wait for NAV) and a moon roof, which I beleive I have used 3 times in 4 years. Yeah they are different rides, but the TCH will be fine for me. And i was not the type to buy the Infinitis or Acuras to impress others, more just to get what i wanted in a car. If you are looking to impress proper the TCH will impress the frugal or treehugger crowd. And personally anyone that is judging me by my ride is not someone i really want to knwo anyway!
