I went through much thought before moving from my 2003 Prius to my 2007 TCH. First, a post-2004 Prius was out, due to the problems with visability - rear due to the hatchback and front due to poor placement of the driver side A frame. The first generation Prius is so superior in design. I love the big digital speedometer. Plus it drives better. The Gen-2 felt like a truck. Plus the el-cheapo dash and interior materials.

I really enjoy my TCH, but the other poster is right, it is a different experience. It's much bigger, feels like a yacht. Yachts are fine, but so are speedboats. Driving the TCH is very enjoyable...a mature kind of enjoyment, not "fun." The Prius is fun. (Guess that's one reason I haven't sold it yet).
