It's not as gloomy as it sounds! The cost of lithium in automotive use is tumbling as we speak. Last year, a 250 mile range EV costed $550,000. This one costs $80,000. That's a 7-fold reduction in cost in one year!
I'll buy the $80k car if actually comes out. I really don't think it will though.
