My wife and I test drove both before deciding on the Camry. I was leaning towards the Prius, mainly because of its superior mileage. My thinking was "if I'm going to get a hybrid, I may as well get the most out of it". However my wife didn't like the way the rear hatch window was split in two by the high mounted stop lamp. She also did not like the way the dash seemed to go on forever. I have to admit to preferring the Camry, except for the mileage. As it is the dealership had one Camry coming in, but weren't expecting a Prius, so that made the decision easy.
