I took the dash apart on my non-NAVI HCHII in order to install a Panavise satellite radio mount. My thoughts on the matter...

1. You only need a Phillips screwdriver to remove a couple of screws, and then all the dash panels snap off in a specific order (starting under the steering wheel, then working up, and over to the radio area).

2. There's no need to tape the dash... unless of course you intend to *pry* on the dash panels... which you absolutely DO NOT want to do!

3. All the clips used in the dash basically pop free by gently (but firmly) yanking on the panels at each clip. Simply use common sense and pull straight at each clip.

4. Everything went back together easily in the reverse order. Simply line each panel snap back up with its receptacle and carefully pop them all back into place.
