I looked into it and while it seems that it was done frequently in the past, not so much anymore. I believe you now need to show prove of US residency to be able to use a US purchased Toyota warranty in Canada.
That was the warranty I was thinking about too, but I just could not stomach the $2K for it, especially when the hybrid components and power train warranty already extend beyond the standard 3yr/60K warranty. Statistically you are better off without the ECP warranty, but I guess that would not be a consolation if something expensive blew up...
