I must have missed something fundamental here... Let me try again:
So, LEV-2 can be the coming standard. No car that does not comply with LEV-2 will be sold (in the state that uses LEV-2). Now, who cares about the even stricter standards, ULEV-2 and SULEV-2 if no one has to comply with them and they are not used in marketing?
I've updated the graphs again. What I've learned so far from this discussion is the extreme levels of NOx that we allow for diesel cars in Europe. And that the Prius does not comply to LEV-2 and Tier-II/Bin 5! Look at HC emissions. Can that really be right? What have I done wrong?
