Actually, I think FAS has the same horsepower as the *original* IMA. I'm pretty sure a HCH-1 has an 18-HP IMA, while the HCH-2 has 20 HP. Of course, GM's energy output is directed more for running power tools than pushing the car. Still, it seems to do a lot given the batteries it uses.
