If it is supported it will show the battery icon in GREEN, YELLOW, RED for full, partial and almost depleted battery condition respectively on the NAV's Phone screen. The battery icon is there regardless of your phone I bet it is not functional with any Motorol phone.

Scroll about half way down and it describes battery level as not supported.
