I now have the update. Not much improvement in mileage. The last tank prior to the update was 28.2. The tank after the update is 30.2. Let me say that we don't drive regular routes. We live in the Sierra foothills near Auburn. We drove from Reno over the Sierra to Auburn prior to the update and got 40 mpg. Today we drove along the shore of Tahoe, over a couple of grades and up the old U.S. 40 over Doner Summit to Auburn and got 49 mpg. I noticed that the car is generating and using the battery more at lower speeds thus improving the under 40 mph driving mileage. The 65 plus miles per gallon remains about the same. What I like about the car is the way it holds speed going down hill in cruise control. It is doing that now by down shifting more when the battery is full. On slight upgrades the car is assisted by the electric motor more and staying in ECO longer. Prior to the upgrade our over all mpg was 30.2. I let you all know how we are doing as we drive more.
