Looking at the chart for the Insight Marathon, most of the laps were significantly below 20 miles per hour. There were several laps that were 15 miles per hour. I did notice the trend that the laps got longer and longer as the days went on. Unless somebody takes the time to actually calculate the numbers, I would say the average speed was about 17 miles per hour.
