I made an appointment for my first oil change with the dealer last week. (Rembember my oil poll? Thanks for your input.) The service person said they had 0W-20 synthetic, and there was no synthetic up-charge for the complimentary oil change. So far, so good.
I went in today and guess what? They didn't have the oil.
Wassup with that? I've rescheduled and will get an additional free oil change, but still, this is frustrating. Memo to myself: CALL AND CHECK BEFORE DRIVING TO THE DEALER.
I guess the up-side is the dealer didn't say I was whacko, laugh at me, or otherwise berate me for requiring 0W-20 synthetic.
