Default Re: Camry Hybrid vs. Prius

My father has a 05 Prius. While I liked it overall, there were a few things that bothered me. The Prius felt sensitive to cross winds. I had to pay attention, or I would not stay in my lane if it was windy, or if a semi blocked the wind as it went by. The Prius has some blind spots, and and limited rear visibility. The rear seats are not very comfortable on longer rides, not enough padding for me.

Even so, I was pretty set on getting an 06 Prius. Then I heard about the TCH comming out and decided to wait until I could drive one to make up my mind.

I was able to drive one in May and loved it. Quieter, smoother ride, more power, better visiblity, awesome sounding stereo, more comfortable seats in the front and especially in the rear. Cross winds have almost no effect on the TCH. I like the adjustable height of the drivers seat and additional headroom.

After almost 8,000 miles, my only (minor) complaint is the headrest. They only move up and down, there is no way to adjust how close to your head they are.
