Ok, so I've read a little bit of a teaser article here about the upcoming larger Prius. It doesn't seem to have a name yet, unless they are just going to use the name Prius as a sub-brand.

Does anyone know what it will look like? I wish they'd make a slick sedan, I'd rather have a handsome car than an egg like shape (I know the shape reduces drag but I would sacrifice a little mpg for a conventional look)

Does anyone have a link to share of the new Prius with pics or drawings?

Here's the article about it: http://acceltimes.com/news/11/toyota...ius-111309.php

Hi everyone,

It's been quite some time since I last posted, and back then I had an '08 Prius. I've now got the latest 2010 model, with all the bells and whistles. We only have two models available in Australia. Mone has the satnav, and every time I turn the car on, I have to "agree" that I will use it sensibly. The first dozen or so times was OK, but now it's really starting to bug me. I know that there was a "fix" for the previous model. Does anyone know how to turn it off?

Thanks:)

I have seen threads in various places that show how to make an EV button for the Prius II. I find it interesting, but I don't know that it would be useful in my day to day driving. I recently got a chance to drive a 2010 Prius (compliments of Bob Wilson), and got to try out the EcoMode. This got me wondering if there is a simple EV button style modification I could make to activate EcoMode. I also tried out the PowerMode, but really don't think I would use that in my day to day driving! Any help would be more than appreciated. Thanks.

OK, I plan to fix a fuel valve problem next week, but I am disappointed with the mileage I get in this high mileage prius, it now has 325,000 km (former taxi) and I'm averaging 8 L/100 km in the city. I was expecting to drive electric most of the time in town. What's wrong? Is it just the high mileage the car has?? The engine comes on quickly after IG-ON/brake. Is that normal? Does it mean my batteries need replacing?? Nothing more?

It seems to me that the blind spot on the Prius (I have a 2006) is bigger than normal. Before I change lane to the right, I always look over my shoulder. But if a car in the adjacent lane is in just the right spot, the window design seems to be blocking my view of it. If that car is also accelerating, changing lanes can mean trouble. I have noticed this a few times, and just recently almost had an accident. Now I check especially carefully. Has anyone else noticed this?
