Question '04 Prius phonebook

I recently purchased an '04 Prius but received an '06 Operators Manual from the dealer. I can't figure out how to enter phone numbers into the phonebook in order to recall them later for dialing. I find the Manual somewhat confusing and am beginning to think the '06 Manual may not totally correspond to the way the '04 phonebook works.

I have a prius 04, and if you haven't received any response, I'll check my manual to see if it is in there.

By the way, do you have better mpg in town, or on the hiway? I thought it was to be best in town, but my highway mileage is better.

Your City mileage speed has to be pretty low and a warm-up segment for the first trip really helps. I keep my city speeds below 39 miles per hour. On the highway, it is 51 MPH up to 65-70 MPH.
