Want to verify with a pic(hopefully) that there are no nasty surprises under the emblems I take off.

We don't have any pictures, but I have heard of people taking off the emblems. The Toyota logo has 2 screws in it, but the others don't.

Here's some information found on Yahoo forums:

Quote:
The two indentical emblems front and back left two holes each...the
other three are smooth. The two with holes left a flat
space.....probably gonna reapply those with a little black silicone
so they can easily be removed for waxing......I must admit that they
looked better before removed. The hybrid synergy drive emblem is a
great design and may mount it inside the car.

I think the emblems are a bit "showy", but they seem to remind people that this might just be the new..."what do they call it?" (as I've been asked so many times)...hybrid cars! I'm approached pretty regularly by people interested in the car, I wonder how many of them wouldn't have approached if they weren't *sure* it was a Toyota?

I like being able to show it a=off!

Would you believe only one person has asked me about my car in a couple months? And I live in Florida, where I've only seen one other 04 ever?? To make matters worse, it wasn't even an adult... :-P

I get approached at least a couple of times a week by people interested in my car. A couple even had them on order. No kids...they don't seem to care.

I've had a couple of people drive by, slow down to see all the different angles and such...one even came *very* close to running into a car stopped at a light (my lane was turning left, his was stopped)!

Jason mentioned few sightings "in the wild", I think I'll post a topic to see who's seen what. Maybe we're seeing *each other*!

I have often thought that myself - but I have yet to see another Prius on the road at all. It's a big state.

I think if I DO make another sighting, I will try to get the plate number - but then, it probably wouldn't be all that wise to post a plate number - even here.
