Hi, Viet. Welcome to our little corner of the world. I've followed your posts on Edmunds for a little while now...I'd have to say, you're definitely a Honda advocate

I've read about the Prius stalling problem as well. On the one hand, it's disconcerting to read about the car stalling at highway speed without warning. On the other hand, I don't think 13 cars out of 100,000 or more (?) sold necessarily signifies a trend, either.

Truthfully, this deserves a thread of it's own, maybe in the Prius section ?

Finally, I'll say this...as much as I'm a Honda advocate (this is my 4th, btw), I have to admit that I think Toyota got it right, using the ICE to supplement the electric motor. Especially in urban conditions (my own driving conditions favor Honda's IMA system, but only slightly). I do think the car is overly complex to deliver the mileage that it does, compared to IMA. But it looks like for now, Toyo is in the driver's seat (no pun intended) with the consumer.
