Is there a way to change the backup camera lense so that it shows a normal view instead of the wide angle view that makes everything look further away than actual?

Actuall you don't want a normal view as you would not see everything. A wide or fisheye view is better. But I guess you could remove the lens and buy another one to install. There are plenty of places that sell them now.

My logic is that I prefer to use the daskboard monitor just for looking directly behind the car but prefer to see it in actual view. I would still turn around to make sure all the peripheral areas are clear. The current view is difficult to see all the objects since the distance is distorted.

Can you list some places which sell a compatible lense? thanks....
