My family and I just flew into Logan Airport in Boston (BOS) and went to Enterprise Rental Car. While loading our luggage into a little Chevy, a Prius pulled up. We asked about it and, for $5 more a day,
we rented it. I think they classify it as a Standard rather than an
Economy car, but we saved more than that each day that we used it on
our trip to Maine.
They told us that, out of 600 cars at that location, they have 40
Priuses. They can take requests for it, but can't guarantee that one
will be available (we lucked-out). So, if flying into Boston, you
might try calling ahead and asking for one.
The funny thing is, most people renting them don't know what it is
and have to be talked into it. When using it locally, as most
business travelers do, they are surprised that they only put in a
dollar's worth of gas before dropping it off.
