Smile Determining the Package

CarMax has a Prius I'm looking at but they don't know what package(s) it has. Is the package code printed on the car or part of the VIN? The location is over an hour from me and I'd like to try to somewhat make up my mind before I make the drive and the options are important to me. I've found a web page with the manufacturer's codes, but not where to find those codes.

Thanks bunches,

Peter

Thanks, but I knew about the package descriptions. What I would like to know is if there is any place on the car itself that the package codes are printed. I know that some makers put the packages and other details into the VIN number. Is this the case? Can anybody with a Prius who knows their package code see if it's in there? Does the door sill stamping have any package information coded on it? I'd like to be able to determine what the car has on it beyond what is obvious to the naked eye.

don't think so. I recall the VIN shows whether it has side airbags or not... that's about it.
