Default different fuels

I recently saw a gas station selling E85, 85% ethanol. Anyone know if the Prius II can use E85 or any of the other new alternate fuels?

Simple answer. NO!

The computer will complain after a while and the solvent action of the ethanol will attack (destroy) some components of your fuel system.

I would say to follow what's recommended in the owner's manual: gasoline with an octane of 87 or regular unleaded gas 87

.
