I am contemplating getting an extended warranty though "Troy" at PriusChat. Is he trustworthy? Thanks.

As a fairly active PC member, I didn't recall seeing posts from a user named Troy. I checked his profile, and he has made exactly 3 posts, the latest of which was in 4/06, and none relate to an extended warranty.

How did you find out about this, and how did you communicate with him? And why not ask the question there?

Actually, there were quite of few posts on this site about getting an extended warranty through Troy, though admittedly one was routed to Priuschat. I figure that some people in this forum might be able to give me some useful feedback.

If this is Troy at Greenfield tacoma of Mass he is relaible. Got my warranty from him at half what dealer offered

It is Troy Dietrich or Toyota of Greenfield in Greenfield, MA. I don't know about the tacoma part, but it seems to be the same person.

We got our through him and no problems....

I've not begun any comparison shopping yet. Bob and Don, what was the price (if you don't mind saying) and which warranty was it?
