I need a killer system to get tha honeys bouncin. Will a bunch of amps and speakers affect my engine's performance? Don't wanna be sittin on the side of the road cause my battery died.

It depends upon your wiring. Your 12 DC system is good for ~1 kW and other than getting some super-caps to handle the bass, you should be good to go. Just wire it in so the when the car is off (say follow the cigarette lighter level,) it is off. I don't follow sound systems so you're on your own there.
