Default Learn from my mistake

I am used to cars with hand-brakes, not foot brakes. The other day, I had the footbreak on and did not realize it (the warning light is small) and drove that way on the freeway. It did major damage to the rear drums, brakes, and wheel bearings. Before the car has 500 miles on it, I have a $1200 repair!

OWCH!!! I take it the 'smoke escaped.'

My wife crashed both our '91 Camry and '01 Echo, new cars, within the first 5,000 miles. In fact, she has crashed every car we've ever had . . . hummmmm. She hasn't crashed the Prius since she still has the Echo.

BTW, you might want to update your profile with the model and add it to the hybrid database.

I put in what kind of car I own. How do you add the part about how many miles you get to the gallon?

Do the following steps:

Find your car URL - at the bottom of the display of your vehicle MPG is the graphic signature and the fully formed URL with the 'Car ID'.

Test reply - cut and paste that URL in your reply message and observe that the MPG graphical icon shows up

Update signature block - click on "User CP" and drill down to the signature block update page. Paste in your vehicle URL.

Verify signature - look at your previous postings and the signature should now be there. You may need to reload to flush the browser cache.

GOOD LUCK!
