My Prius in one week old today!
And I really love it. I had a VW Bug in HS and college, and I have not felt the "car personality" vibe in over 20 years. I almost feel guilty that I haven't driven our '06 Honda Accord since this car came home.
I just went to the gas station and put just under 6.5 gallons in my car- so my calculated MPG are 47.8, and the digital display read 45.0. Not bad!
I really haven't changed my driving style much at all- I was never a jackrabbit, and always coast when I can.....I am not the only driver of this car, and my trips are getting higher than than 50 mpg pretty much all of the time.
This is a big step down in size for me- from a Honda Odyssey. I have been very pleased with the cargo area- I had 4 cats in separate carriers in there yesterday. (I was bringing some feral cats to the vet.)
Just wanted to share my news. This board was very helpful as I was deciding which car to drive- so thank you.
