The following Changes are made for 2007 model year of Toyota Prius.
1. Exterior.
*16-inch aluminum disc wheel are newly available as optional equipment for the USA models.
Tire Size: 195/55R16
Size:16x6JJ
Material: Aluminum
P.C.D.(Pitch Circle Diameter):100mm (3.9 inch)
Offset: 45 mm(1.8 inch)

* A larger rear spoiler is newly available as optional equipment for the USA models.

The Prius Hybrid, the most fuel-efficient midsize car in America, gains driver and passenger front seat-mounted side airbags, plus front and rear side curtain airbags as standard equipment for 2007. The base MSRP for the Prius starts at $22,175, which is an increase of $450 or 2.1 percent. Full tax credit will be available for purchases completed through September 2006. The approved credit amount for Prius Hybrid is $3,150.

I think the safety of the new airbags more than offsets the price increase.

Side air bags and vehicle stability control were not available in 2001 when I bought Prius. Based on what I have read about the safety implications of those systems since, I would be inclined to pay for them in any future vehicle purchase.
