Soo... shouldn't this have been unveiled by now? Or do we still have to wait?

Just a guess but I believe Toyota does not want
to short circuit demand for the current offering
prematurely and to avoid tipping off the competition
too much.

Agreed. Toyota virtually has a Prius on every street corner in my town. In the abscence of most competition, why upset the apple cart?

Scion has 3 or 4 choices. I think toyota must be thinking of a Prius B or C or just another model.

Is it possible that Toyota would spring a plug-in prius sooner than we think to get the jump on others. Or do they always announce new products in advance ??? I like Chevys,but they seem to never be the first one out with anything.
