My beautiful Tideland Pearl 2005 Prius was hit in a Walgreen's parking lot on Christmas day. Both passenger doors were badly mauled but at least I walked out in time to prevent a drive off. The other driver's insurance is paying for the repair and the rent car while it's in the shop. I'm driving a Ford Taurus with a V6 and the FE is sitting on 21.4 for the tank as we speak. I cringe as I sit a lights and the ave mileage drops a 0.10 of a gallon every 30 seconds. Man, I am missing my Prius a lot right now!!

I've wondered about my ability to get a Prius if mine were totalled in an accident. Does Toyota have Prii in reserve or would I have to go back to mundane cars?
